Species as recorded: *T. pachanoi*, Ecuadorian-looking. Type as recorded: Clone.
The plant likely traces back to material brought to Australia by Harry Blossfeld, the German horticulturist and plant explorer who is behind a startling number of Australian Trichocereus lines. Named for the Australian cryptid.
