IDENTIFYING FEATURES
Green to blue stems, some quite fat to 6in diameter. Highly variable morphology, with modest and rotund stems growing side by side, bearing medium to long spines from 1/4in to over 2.5in. Large white blossoms, edible fruit. Hardy to Z9a.

Origin note:A wild San Pedro from a Carlos Ostolaza collection in Ancash Dept., Peru at 8200ft. Sacred Succulents note it is distinct from T. santaensis and from the Chavin plants they have observed in the same department, and that it remains scarce in cultivation.
